The Tommasi family, pioneers in the Veneto region since 1902, crafts the Monte Masua Valpolicella Classico Superiore as a tribute to one of the most historic hillsides in the Valpolicella Classico zone. Situated in the heart of the region, the Monte Masua vineyard benefits from excellent sun exposure and well-draining limestone and clay soils, which impart a distinct mineral elegance to the wine. This red blend is composed of the traditional Veronese grapes: Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella. It is crafted to highlight the vibrant, fresh cherry and wild berry characters of the fruit, supported by subtle spice notes acquired during its careful aging in Slavonian oak casks. The wine reflects the ancient viticultural heritage of Valpolicella, where hillside vineyards have been celebrated since Roman times for producing wines of remarkable balance, structure, and aromatic complexity.
