TOR Kenward's 'Black Magic' is a legendary, ultra-premium Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend that represents the absolute pinnacle of the winery's production. The cuvée was born when Tor Kenward and winemaker Jeff Ames were tasting through their finest barrels from Napa Valley's most prestigious vineyards, including the historic Beckstoffer To Kalon and Vine Hill Ranch. They discovered that a select handful of barrels possessed an extraordinary, almost supernatural synergy when blended together—hence the name 'Black Magic'. Produced only in exceptional vintages and in extremely limited quantities, this wine is crafted with minimal intervention, native yeast fermentation, and aged in prime French oak, resulting in a remarkably complex, opulent, and cellar-worthy masterpiece.

Founded in 2001 by Napa Valley veteran Tor Kenward and his wife Susan, TOR Wines is an artisanal producer located in St. Helena, California. Drawing upon Kenward's nearly three decades of executive experience alongside legendary growers and winemakers at Beringer Vineyards, the estate is dedicated to crafting small-production, vineyard-designated wines from premier sites throughout Napa Valley. TOR focuses primarily on historic grand cru-caliber terroirs, most notably Beckstoffer To Kalon, Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, and Cimarossa Vineyard. Employing a minimalist, site-expressive winemaking philosophy, the winery is internationally celebrated for its powerful, cellar-worthy Cabernet Sauvignons, refined Chardonnays, and rare, expressive Syrahs.
