Hailing from Trapiche's pioneering maritime vineyards in Chapadmalal, just six kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean in the Buenos Aires Province, the Costa & Pampa Albariño represents a daring departure from Argentina's traditional high-altitude, continental terroirs. Inspired by the coastal wines of Galicia, this unique project thrives under the influence of cold ocean breezes, frequent rains, and a genuinely maritime climate. The vines are planted on rolling hills of fertile loam over a limestone base, yielding a wine defined by its vibrant, electric acidity and a distinct saline minerality. Fermented entirely in stainless steel tanks to preserve its pristine fruit character, this Albariño captures the essence of the South Atlantic coast, offering a beautifully textured palate marked by stone fruits, citrus zest, and a refreshing ocean spray finish.

Founded in 1883 by Tiburcio Benegas, Trapiche is one of Argentina's oldest and most pioneering wineries, located in the Maipú department of Mendoza. Operating from a historic, beautifully restored Florentine-style winery built in 1912, the estate is celebrated for introducing French grape varieties and modern viticultural techniques to the region. Under the guidance of renowned winemakers, Trapiche focuses on expressing the diverse terroirs of Mendoza—ranging from high-altitude Andean vineyards to their pioneering coastal estate in Chapadmalal, Buenos Aires. The winery is globally acclaimed for its exceptional Malbecs, particularly its Single Vineyard series, as well as elegant expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.
