✨ Tekniske specifikationer

Named in honor of the year Tiburcio Benegas founded this historic estate, the Estacion 1883 Cabernet Franc showcases Trapiche's dedication to exploring Mendoza's diverse microclimates. Sourced from selected high-altitude vineyards in the Uco Valley, this wine benefits from intense alpine sunlight and dramatic diurnal temperature shifts. These conditions allow the Cabernet Franc grape to achieve optimal phenolic ripeness while preserving its signature fresh acidity and classic pyrazinic complexity. Typically aged for around 12 months in a combination of French and American oak, the resulting wine beautifully balances ripe red currant and black pepper notes with elegant, fine-grained tannins, offering a sophisticated nod to the grape's historical roots adapted to the dramatic Andean terroir.
