โœจ Technical Specifications

The Terroir Series Finca Orellana (Escobar) is a testament to Trapiche's pioneering spirit of celebrating individual grape growers. Located in the prestigious La Consulta district of the Uco Valley, this single-vineyard Malbec is sourced from a historic plot tended by the Orellana family. Situated at an elevation of nearly 1,000 meters above sea level, the vineyard benefits from intense Andean sunlight and dramatic diurnal temperature swings. The soils here are a complex mix of sandy loam with underlying calcareous deposits, which imparts a distinctive mineral tension, structural depth, and intense floral and dark fruit complexity to the wine. Hand-harvested and meticulously sorted, the wine is aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels, resulting in a profound, velvety Malbec that beautifully reflects its unique high-altitude origin.
