✨ wine.spec_sheet

Sourced from select high-altitude vineyards in Mendoza, where the dramatic diurnal temperature shifts of the Andean foothills preserve vibrant acidity, Trapiche's Reserve Chardonnay is a testament to Argentina's diverse white wine potential. Trapiche, a pioneer in Argentine winemaking since 1883, crafts this wine to showcase a harmonious balance between fresh tropical fruit and elegant structure. The grapes undergo a careful selection process, with a portion of the blend aged in French oak barrels to introduce subtle notes of honey, toasted brioche, and vanilla, while the remainder rests in stainless steel to maintain its crisp, fruit-forward character.

Founded in 1883 by Tiburcio Benegas, Trapiche is one of Argentina's oldest and most pioneering wineries, located in the Maipú department of Mendoza. Operating from a historic, beautifully restored Florentine-style winery built in 1912, the estate is celebrated for introducing French grape varieties and modern viticultural techniques to the region. Under the guidance of renowned winemakers, Trapiche focuses on expressing the diverse terroirs of Mendoza—ranging from high-altitude Andean vineyards to their pioneering coastal estate in Chapadmalal, Buenos Aires. The winery is globally acclaimed for its exceptional Malbecs, particularly its Single Vineyard series, as well as elegant expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.
