Maison Trimbach's Gewurztraminer Réserve Personnelle is a masterclass in Alsatian opulence balanced by structural precision. Sourced primarily from the limestone-dominant soils of the Grand Cru Osterberg vineyard in Ribeauvillé, this prestige cuvée is only produced in exceptional vintages. Historically, the 'Réserve Personnelle' designation was reserved for the family's private cellar, shared only with close friends and esteemed guests. Unlike many Alsace Gewurztraminers that lean heavily into cloying sweetness, Trimbach vinifies this wine to be dry-styled, rich, and intensely aromatic, avoiding malolactic fermentation to preserve a vibrant, spine-tingling acidity. The terroir's marl and limestone soils impart a distinct mineral backbone that tempers the grape's natural exuberance, resulting in a wine of profound depth, complexity, and longevity.
