The 'Lost Block' range from Tyrrell's owes its name to a legendary harvest mishap in 1993, when a block of Semillon was accidentally overlooked by the picking crew. By the time it was rediscovered, the grapes had reached an optimal, luscious ripeness, yielding a remarkably vibrant wine that inspired a new, fruit-forward range. The Lost Block Chardonnay continues this spirit of discovery, sourced from select vineyards across South Eastern Australia. It is crafted in a contemporary, approachable style, balancing bright stone fruit and citrus aromas with a soft, textured palate. Fermentation and brief maturation in a combination of stainless steel and seasoned French oak barrels ensure the wine retains its lively varietal character and crisp acidity without being overpowered by heavy oak.

Founded in 1858 by Edward Tyrrell, Tyrrell's is one of Australia's oldest and most prestigious family-owned wineries, nestled against the Brokenback Range in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales.
