The Old Winery range by Tyrrell's is named in honor of the historic slab hut winery constructed on the estate in 1863. Designed to offer highly approachable, fruit-forward, and varietally expressive wines, this Pinot Noir is sourced from selected vineyards across South Eastern Australia. Unlike the estate's highly structured, cellar-worthy single-vineyard releases, this wine is crafted for immediate pleasure, showcasing the softer, more playful side of the varietal. Established in 1858 by English immigrant Edward Tyrrell, Tyrrell's is one of Australia's oldest and most prestigious family-owned wineries, located in the historic Pokolbin sub-region of the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. Today, under the guidance of fourth-generation family member Bruce Tyrrell, the estate continues to champion its rich heritage while managing some of the region's oldest dry-grown vineyards.
