While Tyrrell's is legendary for Semillon, their exploration of Fiano—an ancient grape native to Campania, Italy—has yielded exceptional results. Grown in the sandy loam soils of the Hunter Valley, the grapes are harvested to retain natural acidity and fermented cool in stainless steel. This preserves the variety's signature textural complexity, vibrant citrus, pear, and spice aromas, backed by a distinctive saline minerality. Founded in 1858 by Edward Tyrrell, Tyrrell's is one of Australia's oldest and most prestigious family-owned wineries, nestled against the Brokenback Range in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales.
