The Veuve Clicquot Reserve Cuvée represents a masterclass in the art of assembly, drawing deeply from the house's legendary library of reserve wines—a practice pioneered by Madame Clicquot herself to safeguard quality against the vagaries of the Champagne climate. This expression is crafted as a richer, more structured sibling to the iconic Yellow Label, utilizing a significant proportion of older reserve wines that have been aged individually to preserve their unique origin. Dominated by Pinot Noir for structure and strength, and balanced by the elegance of Chardonnay and the roundness of Meunier, the blend is aged extensively in the historic chalk crayères of Reims. This prolonged contact with the yeast imparts a beautiful complexity, weaving together fresh pear and citrus notes with deeper layers of toasted brioche, honey, and dried fruits.

Founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot in Reims, Veuve Clicquot rose to global prominence under the visionary leadership of Madame Clicquot, the legendary Grande Dame of Champagne who took control of the house in 1805. Renowned for transformative innovations including the creation of the riddling table and the development of the first blended rosé Champagne, the Maison has shaped modern sparkling winemaking history.
