Madame Clicquot herself was a pioneer in customizing sweetness levels for different global markets. Unlike modern bone-dry styles, this vintage cuvée is crafted with a higher dosage, expertly balanced by the vibrant acidity of a single exceptional harvest. The blend is anchored by Pinot Noir, the signature grape of the house which provides structure and depth, complemented by Chardonnay for elegance and Meunier for fruitiness. Aged for years on its lees in the house's historic chalk cellars, this wine represents a voluptuous, historically minded style of vintage Champagne.

Founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot in Reims, Veuve Clicquot rose to global prominence under the visionary leadership of Madame Clicquot, the legendary Grande Dame of Champagne who took control of the house in 1805.
