Crafted by the southernmost cooperative in Alsace, the Cave du Vieil-Armand, this Pinot Gris pays tribute to the rich history and resilient spirit of the region. The cooperative itself takes its name from the nearby Hartmannswillerkopf battlefield, known as Vieil-Armand, a site of profound historical significance from World War I. Grown on the warm, sun-drenched slopes of the southern Alsace wine route, the Pinot Gris vines thrive in a complex mosaic of soils. This 'M daille' bottling represents the estate's award-winning tradition, capturing the classic Alsatian style of Pinot Gris: wonderfully round and opulent, yet balanced by a vibrant mineral backbone. It showcases a beautiful golden hue and develops complex, expressive aromas of ripe yellow fruits, smoky embers, and fresh honey.

Founded in 1958 at the foot of the historic Hartmannswillerkopf hill—known in French as the Vieil Armand—Cave du Vieil-Armand is a distinguished cooperative estate situated in the southern Alsace village of Wuenheim. Drawing upon an extraordinary mosaic of terroirs, including the historic vineyards of Château d'Ollwiller, the estate unites dedicated local winegrowers committed to authentic regional craftsmanship and sustainable viticulture.
