Crafted by the southernmost cooperative in Alsace, the Cave du Vieil-Armand, this Pinot Gris pays tribute to the rich history and resilient spirit of the region. The cooperative itself takes its name from the nearby Hartmannswillerkopf battlefield, known as Vieil-Armand, a site of profound historical significance from World War I. Grown on the warm, sun-drenched slopes of the southern Alsace wine route, the Pinot Gris vines thrive in a complex mosaic of soils. This 'M daille' bottling represents the estate's award-winning tradition, capturing the classic Alsatian style of Pinot Gris: wonderfully round and opulent, yet balanced by a vibrant mineral backbone.
