The Tradition Pinot Blanc from Cave du Vieil-Armand is a classic expression of Alsace's southern gateway. Grown on the sunny slopes near the historic Hartmannswillerkopf battlefield—known locally as Vieil-Armand—this wine benefits from a unique microclimate and diverse soils of silt, clay, and sand. In Alsace, Pinot Blanc is celebrated for its friendly, approachable character. The winemakers at this historic cooperative employ gentle pneumatic pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel to preserve the grape's delicate orchard fruit aromas and fresh, clean profile. This cuvée captures the easygoing elegance of the region, balancing a soft, round mouthfeel with a refreshing finish.

Cave du Vieil-Armand blev grundlagt i 1958 for foden af den historiske Hartmannswillerkopf-høj – kendt på fransk som Vieil Armand – og er et anerkendt kooperativ beliggende i den sydalsassiske landsby Wuenheim. Huset trækker på en enestående mosaik af terroirs, herunder de historiske vinmarker ved Château d'Ollwiller, og samler passionerede lokale vinbønder med en fælles dedikation til autentisk regionalt håndværk og bæredygtig vindyrkning. Vingården er kendt for en alsidig portefølje, der spænder fra klassiske, stille Alsace AOC-enkeltdruevine på eksempelvis Sylvaner og Pinot Gris til elegante Crémants d'Alsace fremstillet efter den traditionelle metode samt frugtbrændevine og likører af høj håndværksmæssig kvalitet – alle præget af en ekspressiv, aromatisk renhed og en flot, spændstig syrebalance.
