The Rüdesheimer Kirchenpfad, or 'church path,' takes its name from the historic pathway that local churchgoers walked from the vineyards to the parish church of Rüdesheim. Situated on the lower, gentler slopes of the Rüdesheimer Berg, this vineyard features a soil composition rich in loess, loam, and quartzite, which retains moisture and warmth exceptionally well. This unique terroir allows Weingut Leitz to craft a Riesling of remarkable tension and playfulness. The 'Feinherb' designation indicates a traditional off-dry style, where the natural, vibrant acidity of the Rheingau Riesling is perfectly balanced by a delicate touch of residual sweetness.
