Crafted from 100% Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir), this de-alcoholized red undergoes traditional temperature-controlled red wine fermentation before alcohol extraction via vacuum spinning cone column distillation. This gentle thermal evaporation technique preserves primary fruit esters, volatile aromatics, and organic acids at low temperatures, supplemented by subtle residual sweetness to restore palate weight lost through the elimination of ethanol.

Weingut Leitz traces its familial viticultural ancestry back to 1744, though its modern renaissance commenced in 1985 when Johannes Leitz assumed control of the war-ravaged, 2.9-hectare family estate in Rüdesheim am Rhein. Through meticulous parcel acquisition and restoration of steep, historic slate and quartzite terraces, Leitz transformed the domaine into a premier Rheingau reference point.
