The 'RT' stands for Rotburger (the traditional Austrian name for Zweigelt), sourced from old vines ('Alte Reben') planted on the steep, mineral-rich slopes of Southern Styria. This cool-climate red benefits from the estate's biodynamic farming practices and the dramatic diurnal temperature shifts of the region. Fermented spontaneously and aged in neutral oak casks, it represents a highly elegant, vibrant, and mineral-driven expression of Zweigelt, far removed from the heavier styles found in warmer regions. It pays homage to the family's history of diverse polyculture and traditional Styrian winemaking.

Founded in 1959, Weingut Tement is a benchmark family-owned estate situated on the steep, dramatic hills of Südsteiermark along the Austrian-Slovenian border.
