Maison Albert Bichot's Bourgogne Blanc represents a classic, harmonious introduction to the white wines of Burgundy. Sourced from a carefully selected mosaic of vineyards spanning the Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise, and the Mâconnais, this wine showcases the art of regional blending that historic négociants perfected over the centuries. By combining grapes from cooler northern parcels, which impart crisp green apple notes and vibrant acidity, with fruit from warmer southern slopes that contribute ripe stone fruit and roundness, Bichot crafts a balanced expression of Burgundy's signature white grape. A portion of the blend is aged in stainless steel vats to preserve fresh fruit purity, while the remainder undergoes traditional oak barrel aging to add subtle structure, complexity, and a delicate touch of vanilla.
