✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the prestigious Côte de Nuits in Burgundy, Albert Bichot's Premier Cru 'Charmes' showcases the sublime elegance that defines this legendary climat. The name 'Charmes' is highly fitting, referencing the seductive, aromatic, and incredibly silky nature of the Pinot Noir produced from these soils. Grown on shallow, limestone-dominant soils mixed with clay, the vines benefit from excellent drainage and optimal sun exposure. Albert Bichot vinifies this Premier Cru with deep respect for Burgundian tradition, employing hand-harvesting, fermentation in temperature-controlled oak vats, and aging in French oak barrels (typically 30% to 40% new) for 14 to 18 months. This careful upbringing coaxes out a complex bouquet of red cherries, wild strawberries, rose petals, and subtle forest floor, framed by velvety tannins and a vibrant, mineral-driven finish.
