Perched high on the Montagne de Beaune, overlooking the historic capital of Burgundy wine, the Clos de l'Ermitage (often called Clos Ermitage) is a unique parcel steeped in local history. The site takes its name from the nearby chapel of Notre-Dame de l'Ermitage, where hermits once sought spiritual solitude. This high-altitude vineyard benefits from cool breezes and a limestone-dominated soil, which imparts a distinct freshness, vibrant acidity, and mineral tension to the Pinot Noir.
