This Valpolicella Classico Superiore represents a refined expression of the region's signature grapes, primarily Corvina Veronese and Rondinella, grown on the limestone-rich, terraced hillsides of the valley. The name Valpolicella itself is poetically translated from Greek and Latin roots as the 'valley of many cellars,' a testament to its ancient winemaking heritage. Under the visionary guidance of the late Giovanni Allegrini, the estate elevated the Superiore category by focusing on low yields and meticulous oak aging.
