✨ Technical Specifications

Hailing from the rolling hills of Franciacorta in Lombardia, Tenuta Montenisa is an estate steeped in history, formerly owned by the noble Maggi family. The 'Conte Aymo' cuvée pays homage to Count Aymo Maggi, a legendary local figure and one of the visionary founders of the historic Mille Miglia open-road car race. Crafted primarily from Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir) grapes grown in the morainic soils near Lake Iseo, this Metodo Classico sparkling wine represents the pinnacle of Lombardian craftsmanship. It undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle followed by extended aging on its lees, developing a sophisticated profile characterized by vibrant acidity, structured minerality, and elegant notes of red berries, white flowers, and toasted brioche.

🍾 About the Producer

Tracing its winemaking heritage back to 1385 when Giovanni di Piero Antinori joined the Guild of Florentine Winemakers, Marchesi Antinori stands as one of the world's most enduring and influential wine dynasties. For more than twenty-six generations, the family has balanced deep reverence for Tuscan tradition with bold, pioneering innovation, most notably catalyzing the Super Tuscan revolution in the late 20th century. Based at their architecturally stunning headquarters in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, the estate oversees prestigious properties across Tuscany, Umbria, and beyond, with viticulture dedicated to capturing the distinct soul of each terroir. Today, led by Marchese Piero Antinori alongside his daughters Albiera, Allegra, and Alessia, the house produces iconic masterpieces including the legendary Sangiovese-Cabernet blend Tignanello, the opulent Solaia, and the benchmark Italian white Cervaro della Sala.
