Crafted by the historic Antinori family, whose winemaking legacy in Tuscany spans over twenty-six generations, Santa Cristina Rosato is a vibrant expression of the region's contemporary rosé style. Originating from the Santa Cristina estate near the ancient Etruscan town of Cortona, this wine is typically crafted from a blend of Sangiovese and other complementary red grape varieties. To preserve its delicate floral aromas and bright red berry fruit character, the grapes undergo a brief cold maceration on the skins followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with no oak aging. The Santa Cristina line itself was first introduced in 1946 by Marchese Niccolò Antinori, representing a historic commitment to crafting accessible, high-quality wines that embody the effortless elegance of the Tuscan lifestyle.

Marchesi Antinori is one of the world's most storied winemaking dynasties, tracing its commercial viticultural heritage to 1385 when Giovanni di Piero Antinori matriculated into Florence's Arte dei Vinattieri. Spanning twenty-six generations, the family revolutionized modern Italian viticulture under Marchese Piero Antinori and legendary enologist Giacomo Tachis, catalyzing the Super Tuscan revolution with the pioneering release of Tignanello in 1971.
