The Antinori family's venture into sparkling wine dates back to the early 20th century, driven by a desire to craft Italian Metodo Classico that could rival the finest French Champagnes. In the high-altitude vineyards of Trentino-Alto Adige, this pursuit of excellence finds its perfect canvas. The region's dramatic alpine terroir, characterized by warm, sunny days and cool mountain nights, allows Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grapes to ripen slowly while retaining their vibrant acidity. This Spumante Brut is crafted using the traditional method, where secondary fermentation in the bottle and extended contact with the lees impart a sophisticated complexity. It weaves together the historic pioneering spirit of the Tuscan noble family with the pristine, mineral-rich soils of the Dolomites, resulting in a sparkling wine of exceptional purity, elegance, and fine, persistent perlage.

Marchesi Antinori er et af verdens mest traditionsrige og indflydelsesrige vindynastier med rødder, der går helt tilbage til 1385, hvor Giovanni di Piero Antinori blev optaget i det florentinske vinmagerlaug. Gennem mere end 26 generationer har familien forenet en dyb respekt for toscansk vintradition med modig nytænkning – ikke mindst som afgørende drivkraft bag Supertoscaner-revolutionen i slutningen af det 20. århundrede. Med udgangspunkt i det arkitektoniske mesterværk af et hovedsæde i San Casciano in Val di Pesa råder vinhuset over prestigefyldte ejendomme i Toscana, Umbrien og internationalt, hvor dyrkningen altid er dedikeret til at indfange det enkelte terroirs unikke sjæl.
