Founded in 1924, the August Kesseler estate is situated in Assmannshausen within Germany's prestigious Rheingau region. The winery reached international prominence after August Kesseler took the helm from his parents in 1977 at just nineteen years of age, transforming the property through rigorous vineyard management and low-yield philosophies. Championing legendary steep-slope terroirs such as Assmannshäuser Höllenberg and Rüdesheimer Berg Schlossberg, the estate is revered for producing finely sculpted, mineral-driven Rieslings alongside benchmark, world-class Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) of remarkable finesse and longevity.
