JP Azeitão Branco is a modern classic from the Península de Setúbal, capturing the vibrant and sun-drenched spirit of southern Portugal. First introduced to showcase a highly accessible, aromatic style, this wine pays homage to the historic João Pires heritage. It is crafted from vineyards planted in the region's diverse soils, ranging from the sandy plains to the clay-limestone slopes of the Arrábida hills. The cooling maritime breezes from the Atlantic Ocean temper the warm Mediterranean climate, allowing the grapes to retain their natural acidity. Vinified entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, the winemaking process is designed to preserve the intense primary fruit and floral aromas, resulting in a remarkably fresh, light, and easy-drinking white wine that has become a staple of Portuguese tables.
