Don Facundo revolutionized rum production by introducing purposeful charcoal filtration and deliberate aging in toasted oak barrels. The iconic bat logo, chosen by his wife Amalia, was inspired by the fruit bats nesting in the distillery's rafters, representing good fortune and family unity. Today, crafted in Puerto Rico at the famous 'Cathedral of Rum' in Catano, Carta Oro is a masterfully blended golden rum.
