Hailing from the sun-drenched hills of southern Tuscany, Banfi's Centine Bianco is a vibrant contemporary expression of regional white winemaking. Crafted by the historic Castello Banfi estate—renowned for pioneering modern viticulture in Montalcino—the name 'Centine' pays homage to the traditional wooden or stone arches ('centine') used to construct the historic cellars of the estate. This wine is an artful blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Grigio, cultivated in clay-sandy soils that impart a distinct minerality. To preserve its bright, expressive fruit profile, the grapes undergo temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, entirely avoiding oak contact. The result is a fresh, aromatic white wine that captures the breezy, Mediterranean-influenced terroir of Tuscany.

Banfi blev grundlagt i 1978 af de italiensk-amerikanske brødre John og Harry Mariani og har sit hjerte omkring den historiske middelalderfæstning Castello di Poggio alle Mura i toscanske Montalcino.
