While Banfi is globally renowned for its pioneering work in Tuscany, the estate recognized the incredible potential of Sicily's unique Mediterranean terroir to craft vibrant, accessible wines. In this southern Italian paradise, the Pinot Grigio grape escapes its cooler northern stereotype, basking in intense sunshine tempered by cooling sea breezes. Cultivated in soils rich in marine sediment and volcanic influence, the grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and fermented entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
