In the rolling hills of Piedmont, Banfi's historic Strevi estate crafts the Rosa Regale Rosé, a vibrant sparkling wine that builds upon a legacy of romance. Legend holds that ancestral precursors to these Piedmontese sparkling wines were prized by Cleopatra's lovers, Julius Caesar and Marc Antony, who presented them to the Egyptian queen as symbols of passion. This modern rosé expression elegantly blends classic varietals such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with a touch of aromatic Brachetto. Produced using the Charmat method to capture the peak of youthful fruitiness, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in pressurized stainless steel tanks. This preserves the delicate aromas of wild strawberries, raspberries, and white flowers, reflecting the clay and limestone-rich soils of the Monferrato hills.
