✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the sun-drenched hills of southern Montalcino, Banfi's San Angelo is a groundbreaking expression of Pinot Grigio in Tuscany. Historically associated with the cooler northern reaches of Italy, the Mariani family of Castello Banfi pioneered planting this grape in their estate's clay and limestone soils in the late 1970s. Benefiting from warm Tuscan days and cooling maritime breezes from the nearby Tyrrhenian Sea, the grapes develop rich, lush tropical fruit flavors while retaining a vibrant, refreshing acidity. Fermented entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks without oak contact, this estate-bottled white wine captures the pure, bright essence of the Tuscan coast, offering a delightful departure from its northern counterparts.
