Named in honor of the elegant and artistic Baronne Pauline de Rothschild, wife of Baron Philippe, this Sauternes white wine captures the essence of Bordeaux's legendary sweet wine heritage. Crafted primarily from Sémillon with touches of Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle, the grapes are harvested in successive tries to select only those perfectly affected by Botrytis cinerea (noble rot). The terroir of Sauternes, defined by the misty confluence of the Ciron and Garonne rivers, imparts a luscious profile of honeyed apricot, candied citrus, and white flowers, balanced by a vibrant thread of acidity developed during its careful barrel aging.

Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. blev grundlagt af Baron Philippe de Rothschild og har hjemsted i Pauillac i Bordeaux – en af verdens mest berømte vinregioner.
