Crafted by the legendary house of Baron Philippe de Rothschild, this Cabernet Sauvignon represents a harmonious marriage between Bordeaux winemaking expertise and the warm, sun-drenched terroir of the Languedoc in Southern France. While the Rothschild name is globally synonymous with the prestigious estates of Pauillac, this varietal expression from the Pays d'Oc showcases a more accessible, fruit-forward side of their winemaking philosophy. The grapes are selected from prime vineyard parcels across the Languedoc, where the Mediterranean climate coaxes optimal ripeness and rich phenolic complexity from the Cabernet Sauvignon vines. Vinified with a focus on preserving the vibrant primary fruit, the wine typically undergoes traditional temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, sometimes complemented by a period of oak aging to add subtle structure and spice without overpowering the natural blackcurrant and herbaceous character of the grape.
