The story of Los Vascos is deeply intertwined with the pioneering spirit of the Rothschild family, who recognized the extraordinary potential of Chile's Colchagua Valley in 1988. This Grande Réserve Carmenère celebrates the dramatic resurrection of Chile's signature grape, which was brought from Bordeaux in the 19th century and famously mistaken for Merlot for over a hundred years. Sourced from carefully selected high-altitude parcels where the cool ocean breezes temper the warm valley sun, the grapes undergo meticulous sorting before aging in French oak barrels. The result is a wine of remarkable depth, marrying intense black fruit flavors with the classic spicy, herbal undertones that define world-class Chilean Carmenère.

Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. blev grundlagt af Baron Philippe de Rothschild og har hjemsted i Pauillac i Bordeaux – en af verdens mest berømte vinregioner.
