Escudo Rojo is the Spanish translation of 'Rote Schild'—the historic red shield that gave the Rothschild family its name. This premium cuvée, 'Origine', is a tribute to the family's winemaking roots, showcasing their expertise transplanted to the exceptional terroir of Chile's Maipo Valley within the Central Valley. Sourced from carefully selected micro-parcels where stony clay soils and the cooling breezes of the Andes Mountains create the perfect microclimate, this wine represents the pinnacle of Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon. It is crafted using traditional Bordeaux techniques, including meticulous parcel selection and aging in French oak barrels for approximately 12 months, resulting in a wine of remarkable depth, structure, and elegance.

Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. blev grundlagt af Baron Philippe de Rothschild og har hjemsted i Pauillac i Bordeaux – en af verdens mest berømte vinregioner.
