Escudo Rojo, translating directly to 'Red Shield' as a tribute to the Rothschild family's historic emblem, represents the perfect marriage of French winemaking distinction and Chilean terroir. Sourced from selected cool-climate parcels within Chile's Central Valley, this wine benefits from the cooling influence of the Pacific Ocean and the Humboldt Current, which slows ripening and preserves essential acidity. The winemakers employ strict temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, avoiding oak contact entirely to safeguard the pristine, vibrant fruit character. The result is an aromatic, crisp expression of the grape, defined by citrus zest, passion fruit, and delicate herbaceous undertones that reflect the modern vitality of Chilean viticulture.

Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. blev grundlagt af Baron Philippe de Rothschild og har hjemsted i Pauillac i Bordeaux – en af verdens mest berømte vinregioner.
