Combining traditional Bordeaux expertise with the vibrant, sun-drenched soils of Chile, Baron Philippe de Rothschild's Chilean winemaking philosophy focuses on preserving intense fruit purity while introducing elegant structure. The Central Valley's unique climate, characterized by warm days and cooling breezes from the Andes Mountains, allows red varieties to ripen slowly and fully. Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. blev grundlagt af Baron Philippe de Rothschild og har hjemsted i Pauillac i Bordeaux – en af verdens mest berømte vinregioner. Huset regnes i dag blandt klodens ypperste familieejede vinvirksomheder. Fundamentet hviler på en visionær og nyskabende tilgang, som revolutionerede moderne vindyrkning og aftapning på selve slottet (mis en bouteille au château).
