Mapu Cabernet Sauvignon is a vibrant tribute to the Chilean terroir, crafted by the legendary French winemaking house Baron Philippe de Rothschild. The name 'Mapu' translates to 'land' or 'earth' in Mapudungun, the language of Chile's indigenous Mapuche people, honoring the deep connection between the soil and the vine. Sourced from selected vineyards in Chile's Central Valley, where a Mediterranean climate with warm days and cool night breezes from the Andes creates ideal ripening conditions, this wine is designed to showcase pure, expressive fruit. To preserve its fresh, varietal character, the wine is vinified in stainless steel vats under the careful supervision of the estate's French-trained winemakers, blending traditional Bordeaux expertise with the vibrant energy of the New World.

Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. blev grundlagt af Baron Philippe de Rothschild og har hjemsted i Pauillac i Bordeaux – en af verdens mest berømte vinregioner. Huset regnes i dag blandt klodens ypperste familieejede vinvirksomheder.
