The Mapu range, created by the legendary house of Baron Philippe de Rothschild, pays homage to the ancestral roots of Chile, drawing its name from the Mapudungun word for 'land' or 'earth.' This Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the exceptional synergy between French winemaking savoir-faire and the pristine terroir of Chile's Central Valley. Sourced from carefully selected vineyards where warm, sunny days are tempered by cool breezes descending from the Andes Mountains, the grapes develop intense fruit concentration and balanced acidity. The wine undergoes traditional fermentation followed by meticulous aging in French oak barrels, resulting in a structured, elegant red that beautifully marries ripe dark fruit characters with subtle notes of spice, hazelnut, and vanilla.
