Mapu, meaning 'land' or 'earth' in the native Mapuche language, represents Baron Philippe de Rothschild's tribute to the rich winemaking heritage of Chile's Central Valley. This Gran Reserva Chardonnay showcases the harmonious marriage of French winemaking expertise and the vibrant Chilean terroir. Sourced from carefully selected vineyards, the grapes benefit from the cooling influences of the Pacific Ocean and the Andes mountains, preserving their natural acidity. A portion of the wine is aged in French oak barrels, imparting a subtle creaminess, toasted hazelnut notes, and structural complexity to the bright, tropical fruit flavors of pineapple and mango that define this expressive white wine.
