Born from the visionary spirit of Baron Philippe de Rothschild in 1930, Mouton Cadet was originally created to make the prestige of Bordeaux accessible to a wider audience. The Réserve line elevates this concept, sourcing select grapes from prestigious Bordeaux appellations. This red blend—typically dominated by Merlot alongside Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc—undergoes careful selection and traditional aging, often incorporating oak to impart structure and complexity. It reflects the classic elegance of Bordeaux, balancing rich black fruit flavors of blackberry and blackcurrant with subtle spice, refined tannins, and a supple finish that honors the Rothschild winemaking legacy.

Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. blev grundlagt af Baron Philippe de Rothschild og har hjemsted i Pauillac i Bordeaux – en af verdens mest berømte vinregioner.
