Crafted by the legendary Bordeaux house of Baron Philippe de Rothschild, this Pinot Noir showcases the family's pioneering spirit in the Languedoc region of southern France. While Pinot Noir is traditionally associated with cooler northern climates like Burgundy, the winemakers carefully select grapes from cooler microclimates within the Pays d'Oc, where clay-limestone soils and maritime breezes help preserve the grape's delicate acidity and aromatic complexity. This expression is a testament to the Rothschild legacy of blending traditional French expertise with the sunny, generous terroir of the Mediterranean. The wine is typically fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to preserve its vibrant red fruit character, resulting in an elegant, approachable red wine that balances fresh cherry and raspberry notes with subtle earthy undertones.

Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. blev grundlagt af Baron Philippe de Rothschild og har hjemsted i Pauillac i Bordeaux – en af verdens mest berømte vinregioner.
