Baron Philippe de Rothschild's venture into the sun-drenched Languedoc region of southern France represents a harmonious marriage of Bordeaux winemaking pedigree and Mediterranean terroir. This 100% Syrah showcases the grape's expressive character, nurtured by the region's diverse clay-limestone soils and warm, maritime climate. Historically, the Rothschild family was among the key pioneers who recognized the untapped potential of the Pays d'Oc, elevating varietal wines of the south to international acclaim. The wine is typically crafted using traditional fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve the vibrant, dark berry fruit, followed by a careful aging process that softens the tannins while highlighting classic Syrah notes of cracked black pepper, wild herbs, and subtle violet florals.

Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. blev grundlagt af Baron Philippe de Rothschild og har hjemsted i Pauillac i Bordeaux – en af verdens mest berømte vinregioner.
