✨ Technical Specifications
Barton & Guestier, founded in 1725 by Irish merchant Thomas Barton and later joined by Daniel Guestier, holds the distinction of being the oldest active wine house in Bordeaux. This Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine carries forward their nearly three-century-old legacy of blending expertise, representing a classic French sparkling style crafted to showcase freshness and elegance. Sourced from select white grape varieties across France—typically featuring a blend of Ugni Blanc and Colombard—the wine is produced using the Charmat method to preserve its vibrant, primary fruit characteristics. The result is a lively, approachable sparkling wine defined by delicate bubbles, aromas of white flowers, and crisp notes of green apple, pear, and citrus, embodying the historic house's commitment to accessible French refinement.
