Sourced from the iconic Carlisle Vineyard, which was planted in 1927 in the heart of the Russian River Valley, this wine is a classic field blend dominated by Zinfandel alongside a field-blended mix of historic varieties including Alicante Bouschet and Petite Sirah. The vineyard's cool, fog-influenced climate yields a wine of remarkable balance, combining intense dark berry fruit with vibrant acidity and savory complexity. Winemaker Morgan Twain-Peterson MW employs minimal-intervention techniques, utilizing native yeast fermentations and aging in French oak barrels to allow the unique voice of this ancient vineyard to shine through.

Bedrock Wine Co. blev grundlagt i Sonoma, Californien, i 2007 af vinmageren Morgan Twain-Peterson MW med en dedikeret mission om at genoprette og bevare statens historiske vinmarker med gamle vinstokke.
