By blending fruit from cool-climate coastal sites—which lend the wine its signature cracked black pepper, fresh violet, and savory olive tapenade aromas—with the intense, dark-fruited, and structurally muscular grapes grown in volcanic foothill soils, Bedrock crafts a Syrah of remarkable tension and balance. Winemaker Morgan Twain-Peterson MW utilizes traditional, low-intervention techniques including partial whole-cluster fermentation to enhance the wine's aromatic complexity and structure, followed by aging in mostly neutral French oak puncheons to ensure the pure expression of these diverse terroirs remains front and center.
