Hailing from the dramatic, volcanic slopes of the Moon Mountain District in Sonoma Valley, the Bedrock Wine Co. Kamen Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a masterclass in mountain viticulture. Perched high in the Mayacamas Range, the Kamen Vineyard is renowned for its steep, rocky, fractured basalt soils and extreme exposure, which force the vines to struggle and produce tiny, intensely concentrated berries. Winemaker Morgan Twain-Peterson MW crafts this wine to highlight the site's signature wild, savory character. Typically composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine undergoes fermentation with native yeasts and is aged in French oak barrels. It beautifully marries rich dark fruit flavors of blackberry and cassis with complex notes of crushed volcanic rock, graphite, and wild mountain herbs, reflecting the rugged, untamed beauty of its high-altitude origin.
