Hailing from the wind-swept slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains in Sonoma County, the Kick Ranch Sauvignon Blanc is a testament to Bedrock Wine Co.'s ability to coax profound depth from unique terroirs. The Kick Ranch vineyard, located in the Fountaingrove District, is defined by its rocky, volcanic soils and the cooling marine influences that rush through the Petaluma Gap. This dramatic climate allows the Sauvignon Blanc grapes, often including the highly aromatic Sauvignon Musque clone, to ripen slowly, retaining a vibrant, electric acidity alongside rich tropical and stone fruit flavors. Winemaker Morgan Twain-Peterson MW employs thoughtful, low-intervention cellar techniques, typically fermenting and aging the wine in a combination of neutral French oak barrels, concrete, and stainless steel. This careful regimen builds a beautifully textured mouthfeel that perfectly balances the wine's intense mineral drive and bright citrus core, resulting in a sophisticated California Sauvignon Blanc with Old World structure.

Bedrock Wine Co. blev grundlagt i Sonoma, Californien, i 2007 af vinmageren Morgan Twain-Peterson MW med en dedikeret mission om at genoprette og bevare statens historiske vinmarker med gamle vinstokke.
