✨ wine.spec_sheet

Saitone Ranch, located in the heart of the Russian River Valley's Piner-Olivet region, is one of Sonoma County's crown jewels of viticultural history. Originally planted in 1895 by Italian immigrant Antonio Saitone, this historic vineyard features majestic, head-trained, dry-farmed vines that have survived for well over a century. Bedrock Wine Co. crafts this site-specific Zinfandel to honor this legacy, capturing the unique cool-climate signature of the Russian River Valley. The terroir, characterized by morning fog and sandy loam soils, yields a wine of remarkable elegance, bright acidity, and vibrant red fruit character, distinct from warmer-climate Zinfandels. Fermented with native yeasts and aged carefully in French oak barrels, the wine showcases a complex tapestry of wild blackberry, cracked black pepper, and dried floral notes, underpinned by the structural depth that only centenarian vines can provide.
