Winemaker Morgan Twain-Peterson MW utilizes a solera-like approach, blending multiple vintages to achieve consistency, depth, and vibrant fruit character. The blend is anchored by Zinfandel and supported by classic heritage varieties such as Carignan, Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Alicante Bouschet, sourced from ancient, head-trained vines. Fermented with native yeasts and aged primarily in neutral French oak, this cuvee represents a preservation of California's viticultural history, delivering a wine bursting with dark berry fruit, cracked black pepper, and savory spice.
